We all know that intellectual property is one of the cornerstones of the modern online business environment and without a strong legal system the world as we know it wouldn’t exist. Every new idea, every creative image, art, character, video, song, music, or something much more complex like an invention, technology, or developed product requires protection from potential copycats. In the world of old-school entrepreneurship, we have a robust but slow legal system, built to protect IP via different legal systems by tracking ownership of IP and taking action when someone violates IP rights. But in the new world of Web3, with tokenization of money, art, governance, finance — it would be a great idea to tokenize IP and finally make them available on-chain. So, let me tell you about a new project that will finally solve the onboarding and management of the intellectual property at blockchain — InvArch.

InvArch is a new advanced blockchain protocol that makes Intellectual Property — a part of the blockchain by tokenizing ideas, fractionalizing their ownership and creating an effective environment for new connections, partnerships, and productive collaboration between creative users. With the fast rise of NFTs — InvArch chose to use them as Property Tokens (#IPT) combined into Property Sets (#IPSets) to onboard ideas on blockchain and make them traceable and possible to operate with. Every idea in the form of code files, jpegs, pdfs, videos or any other digital form becomes an on-chain NFT that InvArch calls Property Tokens. The user creates a project by combining these Property Tokens into collections called Property Sets — they become the main unit of property that users can operate with, share, develop and modify. But this is only the first step of creating a big IP ecosystem.

So we have tokenized ideas — but how can we use them? The possibilities are limitless. Every user can create a new project and make it their own, they can add Property Tokens, develop and grow them. Every step will be written in the blockchain with Intellectual Property in the form of a Property Set being carefully protected by InvArch protocol. Next, we all understand that working alone is not a good choice, and most users would love to work with other creative people and together develop valuable Property Set by sharing it and splitting ownership. Here we have the next important step with InvArch — Intellectual Property Ownership tokens. Every IP project in the form of a Property Set can create ownership tokens and give them to anyone so they can own part of the Property Set. Users can give these tokens to skillful friends, partners, sponsors, supporters — or to have them all to themselves, the choice is unlimited.

Next, the growing scale and complexity of Intellectual Property require advanced methods to control it, so InvArch allows users to create a Decentralized Entrepreneurial Venture, designed to develop and manage Property Set by setting terms, milestones, plans, conditions, and ownership of Intellectual Property tokens. Every action of this Venture is stored on-chain, so any member has a completely transparent vision of the project. By allocating % of tokens to different members of Decentralized Entrepreneurial Venture and assigning different roles — the project can launch and begin its development.

The workflow inside InvArch is very comfortable and productive for every member of the Decentralized Entrepreneurial Venture. Every action and every step is stored on-chain, including files, images, documents, logs, or any other digital unit that was produced by the user. Milestones can trigger token actions so Venture can reward members after achieving measurable results.

One of the most important problems the new project can encounter is copycats and IP violations. Unfortunately, some people don’t want to be creative, they don’t want to invent — but they would love to steal other people’s ideas and try to use them for their own goals. And of course, InvArch made it the top priority to solve this issue via several steps. First — every user gets verified via KYC and can have only one account, no different personalities or multiple accounts allowed. The identities are recorded on-chain and malicious actors will forever destroy their reputation and ability to use protocol. Every activity is stored on-chain as well as agreements and different terms — so possible conflicts are eliminated by complete transparency. The next step is the anti-plagiarism system that will be implemented in InvArch and will look for on-chain violations of IP, preventing possible theft of ideas or content. Further actions via off-chain arbitration are delegated by members of Decentralized Entrepreneurial Venture to trusted parties or as a possible option InvArch will provide international arbitration courts via new partnerships they are planning to make in the future. So, every Decentralized Entrepreneurial Venture is protected and has real-world leverage to fight for its rights and feel safe inside the protocol.

InvArch has big plans, really big. Multiple partnerships all over the world with government agencies, respected private entities, and other legal actors and legal systems will create a global network that is going to be very effective not only with reputation-based on-chain protection of Intellectual Property but as well as by legal off-chain protection in the real world. We will hear more great news about InvArch very soon.
